In 2020, the NCDP ran a historic and unprecedented down-ballot protection program. Print Advertising was a major part of this campaign.
VOTER PROTECTION LIT DROPS
Voter education and empowerment was key in our 2020 down-ballot protection program. In order to ensurer every North Carolinian knew their polling location, who was running to represent them, and their voting rights, I designed several print pieces to be distributed to voters across the state.

SAMPLE BALLOTS
Sample ballots were a crucial voter resources during the 2020 election. The goal was to provide voter education to each and every North Carolinian so they knew who was running to represent the up and down the ballot. We were able to do this for 88 counties in English and 6 counties in Spanish.
BALLOT READY QR CODE POSTERS AND CLIPBOARD SIGNS
As an additional resource, I created a QR code poster and an 8.5×11″ flyer for poll greeters to use at the polls. The QR code linked to candidates.ncdp.org, our Ballot Ready tool in which voters could enter their address and see the Democratic candidates running on their ticket, along with a bio, picture, website, and social media links for each candidate.
32 counties printed and distributed the posters and flyers to various polling locations. I designed the flyer so that volunteers could tape it to the back of their clipboard and remain 6 feet away from voters who had questions and wanted to scan the QR code.
